Nasturtiums that grew on a dry stack stone wall at The Clearing Folk School in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin have always been a favorite painting subject of mine. This watercolor is more suggestive than realistic. Creating the textures of the wall and the woods was my objective in this painting.
